We are trying to protect several hundred year old Red Oaks on Victoria Park that a builder is trying to remove. Several of these trees are over 75 cm in diameter and because of their size and species are suppose to be protected by our city. This seems not to be the case. Please show your support by emailing Urban Forestry att'n David Bostock at [email protected]. and tell him to deny the request. Don't wait - the deadline isJune 22nd
It's truly shameful that these trees aren't being protected, why isn't the city doing the right thing and enforcing the by-law?!

These trees are priceless and look to be in good shape- to remove them to facilitate a driveway is shameful! Please think outside the box.

Trees are one of the things that make this and other neighbourhoods so special. We are so lucky that those who came before us planted them and protected them. It's our turn to do the same!!

Toronto is known as "The City Of Trees" for a good reason....we treasure our trees & don't cut down our trees unless there's a very good reason & this is far from a good reason!
