The petition reached 250 signatures this morning. I have drafted a formal letter summarizing these concerns to send to the council office along with a list of the supporters who signed.

Has anyone actually been out to see the hill lately? It looks absolutely nothing like the diagrams they showed us in the meeting.
Just walked by today and the mud sliding down is gonna clog the drainage soon. Bad project management.
Totally agree with the concerns about the trees. Why remove so many healthy ones just to plant twigs that might not survive?
The erosion is getting way worse after all this rain. They need to fix it properly instead of just leaving it like this.
This was such a nice spot to walk the dog. Now it looks like a dump site. FIX IT.

A quick search turns up lots of information on the City of Toronto page - I suggest you add a link here to http://bit.ly/chorleyhill I'm not sure what your concern is... the City of Toronto page says: Native trees and shrubs will be planted on the slope and surrounding area following trail construction at a minimum ratio of 3:1 for trees removed – planned for fall 2014 and/or spring 2015.
