Matthew is my Cousin, My sister's and I were raised around him and we grew up together. He has never done anything shy of protecting us and taking care of us. If I thought for one second there was ANY possibility of him doing what he was accused of, I would be the first too speak up and say something. I have seen him first hand around those kids, he raised and loved them as his own. He made sure they were provided for and well taken care of. He would have absolutely NEVER laid on hand on any of them in a harmful manner. He was somewhat of a strict stepdad and his teenage stepdaughter wanted him and his rules gone. He is innocent. I pray everyday that he will be freed soon. Please free Matthew

I have known Matthew since birth. I know his personality and character. I am horrified & saddened to think that a perfectly INNOCENT, kind, caring individual could be put away for something HE DID NOT DO!!!!! Our justice system...... or LACK THEREOF ..... IS IN A SAD STATE. The fact that he has been put away..... without ANY PROOF...... shows a serious lack of competence in the justice system in Texas and anywhere else this could happen. We will continue to pray & work diligently to see justice prevail. Good will overcome evil.

I've known Mathew for well over 15 years, as a young teenager when I first met Mathew, I can tell you this is not a crime he would EVER have committed. If he was a predator, I and all the other kids we grew up with would've known. I also know he raised his wife's kids like they were his own. Sacrificing to be a father figure to those kids from day one. From someone who witnessed his first few years of marriage with Stacy and the kids, I'd put my word on it that this is definetly a false accusation. A bad false accusation that has ruined a genuinely good persons life.

I believe that people that have hurt children should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. I sat through the trial and I do not believe for one minute that Matthew is guilty. He was a strict stepfather, and his stepdaughter wanted him gone. Please help make this right!

I have personally been around Matt while he raised those children. He has never been anything less than a good father. Even while he's serving an undeserved sentence, I'm almost certain he still misses his family. Matt, you're a good friend, awesome brother, and great father and I know you couldn't have done what they say.

Matthew is my nephew who I love very much. These charges are false and this sentence is unfair. He was badly represented and deserves another chance to prove himself.
