Matthew is my Cousin, My sister's and I were raised around him and we grew up together. He has never done anything shy of protecting us and taking care of us. If I thought for one second there was ANY possibility of him doing what he was accused of, I would be the first too speak up and say something. I have seen him first hand around those kids, he raised and loved them as his own. He made sure they were provided for and well taken care of. He would have absolutely NEVER laid on hand on any of them in a harmful manner. He was somewhat of a strict stepdad and his teenage stepdaughter wanted him and his rules gone. He is innocent. I pray everyday that he will be freed soon. Please free Matthew

This breaks my heart to see such a great man be accused and sentenced for such a crime. Knowing Matt since our childhood I can say without a reasonable doubt that Matthew is now capable of these accusations. One of the best men that I've had an honor of calling a friend. Please free Matthew!

I have known Matthew since birth. I know his personality and character. I am horrified & saddened to think that a perfectly INNOCENT, kind, caring individual could be put away for something HE DID NOT DO!!!!! Our justice system...... or LACK THEREOF ..... IS IN A SAD STATE. The fact that he has been put away..... without ANY PROOF...... shows a serious lack of competence in the justice system in Texas and anywhere else this could happen. We will continue to pray & work diligently to see justice prevail. Good will overcome evil.

The Matthew I grew up with would never do something like this. I practically lived in their house for 5 years and never saw anything of this nature in any of his actions and I am an excellent judge of character.

This man should not only be freed because of false allegations but the people who made this up should be punished i would say the same amount of jail time he had to serve because of a lie and have to pay what he and his family paid out of pocket for lawyers and for pain and suffering
