To gain support to reinstate the Fremantle to Perth daily ferry service (including return). You may or may not be aware that a 2 week trial was conducted in October 2007. The operator decided to discontinue the venture as it was running at a loss (not enough people). We believe this service could be successful if it was advertised correctly. This petition\'s aim is to identify if Fremantle (and surrounding suburbs) residents would consider using the ferry service. You have to admit that travelling by ferry to and from work would be far more enjoyable than competing with peak hour traffic. Jump on Board!
