The groundswell of support for HippoLand proves that this crew is not going to let the property owners bulldoze our culture without a fight. We have built too much sweat equity into this concrete to let them treat it like trash. The momentum is here so keep the pressure on these landowners until they acknowledge we are staying.

DONT TEAR IT DOWN
My brother skates there and says it is the only decent spot in the whole city. quit tearing down stuff that actually keeps kids busy and out of trouble
so much work went into that place. it makes no sense to ruin a perfectly good spot that tons of people use just to put up a fence and let it rot.
This place has history. richmond needs to stop killing the culture.
We built those ramps with our own money and time. cant believe they wanna bulldoze it for no reason at all.

hippoland is legendary. spent so many weekends there growing up. leave it alone.
