I am almost 50 years old and I still don't understand how a person who will rape , kill or torture someone gets a little time, Here we have Nick Vasiliades, He was involved in drugs, Now he will never go home. I see junkies all over (phila.) I see the Gov. give them free needles so they can toss them on the street , just nasty, every other weekend an Officer gets shot or shot at ! Young people just shooting up the town, and there sits Nick, alone and a Mind being wasted ! Now Nick is very intelligent, helpful to others . I feel he deserves to be Free ! So, Please sign this petition , Freedom For Nick !!

The momentum behind this plea for justice is finally forcing the system to pay attention. It is disgusting how they let violent criminals walk while Nick rots away for a non-violent offense. We are not backing down until the bureaucrats in charge admit their hypocrisy and open that cell door.

As a teenager I was an employee of Nick and his father Harry at a restaurant at 13th and Rising Sun Ave. Nicholas is intelligent, caring, and compassionate. He's not a perfect person. But He's human and like many deserves another opportunity at productive life..

Nick grew up in the same neighborhood as my kids. He always had a good heart and never deserved this much time. Bring him home.

THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN. Nick is a good guy who made a bad choice years ago. Enough is enough let him go!!
