Mohamedou Ould Slahi is a Mauritanian who has been detained at Guantánamo Bay detention camp since 2002. He is being held under the authority of Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Terrorists (AUMF), alleged by the U.S. government to be "part of" al Qaeda at the time of his arrest in November 2001.
We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now to free Mohmammed Ould Slahi from the Guantánamo Bay detention camp.

This has gone on long enough. 14 years without charging someone is just wrong and makes us look terrible to the rest of the world. Let him go home.
