Jimmie C Gardner is currently being held in Huttonsville WV correctional center on charges of sexual assualt and robbery. He was arrested in 1989 and given a 113 year sentence on crimes that he did not commit. Fred Zain, the Cheif Serologist for the WV State police testified that Jimmie Gardner's DNA matched the DNA at the crime scene. Fred Zain was later indicted for perjury and tampering with evidence in over 100 cases, including Jimmie Gardner's case.
