Jhumon Das made a comment against Hefazot-E-Islam leader Mominul Haq in Facebook on 15 March 2021. He was arrested on 16 March 2021 under digital security Act. Jhumon is still in custody. On 17 March 2021 Islamic militants ransacked 89 Hindu properties, tortured men, women, and children Fanatics destroyed 9 temples. Administration filed cases against Mominul Haq on various charges, then why should Jhumon Das is still in jail? Please free him, he is innocent and has family to run including a small kid. Thanks.

I honestly cannot stop thinking about his kid and how unfair the whole situation is while I read through all your messages. People keep asking me how to help further and I am honestly just trying to keep the pressure on because the silence from the authorities is actually deafening right now.

I really thought this might just disappear into the void but looking at how many people actually care about Jhumon is honestly overwhelming. It feels like the tide is finally turning and those of us who have been waiting for justice might actually have a path forward now (I keep checking the notifications and just staring at the screen in disbelief).

Free Jhumon Das and punish the rioters who vandalised 80 houses of Hindus at Shulla.
He should not have been put in jail in the first place. Wild disregard for Hindu human rights!
Jhumon should not have been arrested. The criminals who committed atrocities against his community should be punished.

We demand instant release of Jhumon Das from jail and also withdrawl of all charges against him.
