We the undersigned do not want parallel parking on North Main Street. We want to keep angle parking.

Parallel parking would decrease the amount of parking available on Main street and would therefore decrease the patronage of our main street businesses. Please do not change the parking on main street. The main businesses I support on Main street so far are Taste of Country and Aunt Ruth's Attic, and Inter-church with an occasional visit to the bank.

Parallel parking is the worst idea. Why take away parking. This would hurt downtown businesses and take away parking for the elderly and disabled. If you want to change the parking why not change the parallel parking to angle parking to create additional parking.

This is a horrible idea! More spaces, not less! Parallel parking, up hill, in the winter will be nearly impossible when plowed snow in the parking spaces turns to ice. Perhaps changing traffic light patterns to slow traffic coming up and down the hill would be a safer option.

Downtown business owner who believes taking away half our parking spots would greatly hurt our business. In addition, I believe people parallel parking on the busy state route would be very inconvenient at the very least. I would rather see the speed limit better inforced and perhaps more signage to warn about people backing out of current parking spots.

We at Taste of Country DO NOT want parallel parking. I don't see any advantage to changing the parking and I have safety concerns should it be changed. I believe wholeheartedly that this change would be a great detriment to my business and it would encourage customers to go elsewhere.

As business owners for 4+ years on Main Street, we already have trouble with enough spaces. Doing this will hurt businesses further by forcing people to walk further which will pith em off from shopping Main Street. Please reconsider this move.

I agree leave the parking as it is.

There is not enough parking already! The towns that keep being used for comparison have lots of parking on streets off the main drag.
