There is not enough parking already! The towns that keep being used for comparison have lots of parking on streets off the main drag.

Seriously? Angled parking is part of the attractive nature of Fredericktown. Leave a good thing like it is.

Parking has always been a Issue for the businesses. Parallel parking will only add to the problem.

I feel it would take a lot of parking spaces away. I know there theory is to stop the big trucks from being out in the road to get down through town. Some people hate to parallel

Parallel parking is a horrible idea for downtown. You will loose parking and it is so much more dangerous for drivers to have to stop and reverse into a spot. I despise the parking down on main street it Mt. Vernon as I think most do. There is absolutely no reason to change the way it is. It would be a waste of money and complete upset to this town!

Leave the parking the way it is. Changing over to parallel parking only in the downtown area will result in less spaces, less access to businesses, and potential for new problems.
Its taken how long to get business "thriving" as much as it can in Fredericktown at this level, now this idea to try and kill progress? For what?
Has there been a study completed? What is the issue driving this? To my knowledge we haven't seen an increase in traffic crashes in the area.
I can parallel park, no issue here, but I walk to downtown from home. Not a big deal for me. Its an issue for the ones that will just quit coming downtown. Its an issue when the vehicles are trying to get in and out of those spaces, taking longer, congesting traffic, or making North main even more of a drag strip for those flying around the corner at the mill.
Leave it like it is.

I don’t mind parallel parking. I do though feel there are lots of people that wouldn’t shop downtown because of that. I also feel that it will limit the number of parking spaces that are available. It’s already difficult at certain times of the day to find a place to park downtown. Good luck
I agree leave the parking as it is.
