We the Undersigned Petition for Redress for and on behalf of the Francis-Roberson Family domiciled in New Zealand - Namely: Michael (Mike) Francis-Roberson, his Wife Susan Jill (Jill) Francis-Roberson, Daughter Holly Kerensa Kivits (Nee Francis-Roberson), Sons Miles Alexander Francis-Roberson and Alexander Michael Francis-Roberson. WHEREAS: (In brief) 1 Mike and Jill Francis-Roberson, as partners in a business together with a prominent Member of the New Zealand Parliament were the victims of the unlawful actions of senior members of the New Zealand Government's Department of Internal Affairs in circumstances causing the above named victims to lose their reputation, livelihood, their family home and assets accumulated over thirty years. This occurred at a senior age for Mike – fifty years. 2 In addition, the health of Mike and Jill Francis-Roberson (the Petitioners) was seriously affected detrimentally for several years to the present. 3 A document containing statements highly damaging to the Petitioners was fabricated by the Secretary of Internal Affairs, Mr. Richard Stubbings, aided and abetted by former government auditor Brosnahan and other senior and junior members of staff within the New Zealand Department of Internal Affairs. 4 The document, subsequently becoming known as 'The Secret Report', was a litany of fabricated lies produced by a Public Servant with the express purpose of damaging a prominent, charismatic (but independent) politician who held sway over the public of New Zealand with his down-to-Earth, commonsense policies. The secret document was unlawfully handed to a Judge of the District Court at Auckland, New Zealand without the knowledge of the Applicants (Petitioners) on their re-application for renewal of licence to carry on a business in New Zealand. The damage was effected successfully by aiming unwarranted, undeserved and unfounded allegations of impropriety at the Partners' commercial business activities - later determined by rebuttal affidavits and found, after two appeals to the High Court, to be totally untrue. The damaging secret papers were subsequently handed to a Judge of the High Court at Auckland, New Zealand - also without the knowledge of the appellants. 5 After sixteen years of politely petitioning government officials, together with attempts to elicit support from successive governments, Prime Ministers, former Prime Ministers, successive Ministers of Internal Affairs, Cabinet Ministers, Speaker of the House of Representatives (NZ), Members of Parliament, Opposition spokespeople and others this Petition for Redress may be the last opportunity for the principal petitioner to obtain an apology and compensation for loss of livelihood and the damage to and loss of health and a reputation gained over more than thirty years in honest commercial activity both in New Zealand and in Britain. 6 All those mentioned in 5 above and more have failed to act in a way conducive to justice in this instance. THEREFORE: We the Undersigned petition the People of New Zealand and the World:- 1 a) To seek Redress for and on behalf of the Francis-Roberson Family in New Zealand; AND 2 b) To seek a vote of 'NO CONFIDENCE' in the present administration of New Zealand; AND 3 c) To seek compensation for losses over a period of sixteen (16) years in the amount calculated by a former Audit New Zealand auditor/chartered accountant – namely: $NZ 552,740.211. The original invoice to New Zealand Government Minister of Finance Dr. Michael Cullen, dated 20 November 1998, was in the amount of $NZ25,622.579. Interest on the unpaid portion now has been calculated to produce the figure shown above $552,740.211. AND 4 d)To seek an independent inquiry into the actions of malfeasance by named government public servants. These have been named in previous correspondence to the Government of New Zealand; they will be named also at the sought-after independent inquiry. AND 5 e) To seek prosecution of those responsible for the unlawful, unauthorised and malfeasant actions of officials of the New Zealand Department of Internal Affairs, the New Zealand Justice Department and the New Zealand Inland Revenue who were instrumental via perjury by one of its officers in illegally bankrupting the two lead petitioners. Also to seek prosecution against those who have impeded the petitioners' pursuit of justice. AND 6 f) To seek a public apology by the present Government of New Zealand for the treatment meted out to the petitioners by its various departments and public servants over a period of more than sixteen (16) years, for loss of education sustained by the three younger petitioners and for the vilification experienced by all the above petitioners as the result of the media feeding frenzy ensuing from a charismatic politician being pilloried by the Establishment and fanned by those in Government complicit in this discreditable affair. AND 7 g) To seek a public apology by the present administration for the fact that one of their senior officials, together with assistance from his more junior cohorts, was permitted (perhaps encouraged) by his superiors to create a fallacious, dishonourable and disreputable document which became the instrument of the downfall of the petitioners, causing severe hardship and injury to their health. AND 8 h) To seek other redress as is seen fitting and appropriate from the findings of the independent inquiry (once convened). AND 9 i) To seek removal of the suppression notice, unwittingly signed under duress and in ignorance by the lead petitioner while attempting to obtain a High Court hearing .
