In 1875 a beautiful fountain was presented to high wycombe by mr.j.o.Griffits to enhance the area of frogmoor,during 1940 it was taken down for the war effort for the making of munitions,rumours spread that it never was destroyed but remained in a scrapyard for many years and never returned, we wish for this victorian fountain to be replicated and placed back in situ where it once stood to restore the area to it's former glory,and not place a huge tv screen which would totaly destroy a tranquil area of conservation.I and everyone else involved thank you for your support,your voice counts !.

The feedback I have received regarding the fountain confirms that many people feel a deep connection to the history of Frogmoor. I am currently working to locate archival records that might confirm the fate of the original structure. Your ongoing interest serves as a reminder that the character of our local spaces remains a priority for the community.

Reaching this level of interest confirms how many people value the historical character of Frogmoor. It is heartening to see that the desire to restore our local heritage resonates so deeply within the community.

Don't believe the rumour .But a new one should be put back to replace the old one , which I remember . The Castlefield bus conductor .always shouted out FOUNTAIN when he got to Hearns corner ( shoe shop that was).I SAY YES YES YES BRING IT BACK. PLEASE .
A nice place to sit and eat Sandwich next to would be lovely. There is no where really nice to sit. Plus it would draw people back to frogmore
A fountain should be restored to the Frogmoor area ,Too much tradition has been lost in Wycombe
No junk mail or subscriptions at all please or my vote shall be considered as revoked.
Frogmoor looks so depressing these days. A fountain would actually give the place some character instead of just concrete everywhere.
