WE ACTUALLY DID IT AND WE ARE FINALLY GETTING OUR IN-PERSON GRADUATION CEREMONY!! THIS IS A MASSIVE VICTORY FOR EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US WHO REFUSED TO SETTLE FOR A SCREEN!!
A decision has been made to have a virtual graduation for the class of 2020. In order to get a real graduation ceremony I ask the class of 2020 to sign in order to receive all that we have worked hard for
I graduated CHS class of 2017 and I couldn’t imagine not being able to cross the stage traditionally. I understand putting the graduation off for a few months. But these kids should have a normal graduation when the time is right.

Graduated class ‘98. My son is class of 2020. I want him to feel the same pride I did when I walked across the stage in my gown and received my diploma. Please give them the opportunity on a future date when it is safe to do so among their family and fellow graduates. #classof2020

My sister has worked so diligently and deserves to graduate with her class. Y’all took prom away so they at least deserve to graduate and feel that moment of “wow I really did it”. This will negatively impact a lot of seniors if they don’t get this opportunity. Hoping something else can happen. Maybe on the football field. But not a virtual thing.
