They so deserve a formal graduation and last time together as a class of friends.

I do not believe people realize how serious this virus is. Until you lose family members to this disease, you might then put things into perspective. Cherish your life and your accomplishments and know that actually walking across the stage is a very trivial part of the overall picture in the grand scheme of things. Honor and respect what the school is trying to do. Everything will work out as it is meant to.

Everyone deserves the walk across the stage and hear their family cheering them on it’s a huge accomplishment.

I graduated CHS class of 2017 and I couldn’t imagine not being able to cross the stage traditionally. I understand putting the graduation off for a few months. But these kids should have a normal graduation when the time is right.

I am a senior at Jesuit, and can't believe this injustice that is taking place. They should have a graduation just as everyone else is.

Stop treating them like children, they are young adults now. Let them show you they can over come this obstacle by evolving to the new normal. The proper adjustments can be made to have a football field graduation and still follow the social distancing protocol. Only parents at the ceremony and televise live for the rest of the parish. By June there should be a better handle on this virus. People talk about it being selfish for those who are going off to college, well how is that possible if the schools are still closed? A lot of the excuses for this choice of graduation make no sense.

Please, we worked so hard for so long. This is a moment us and our families have waited our entire lives for! We can be patient. Just postpone it to a later date!

These kids deserve a chance for a real graduation. No need to rush and do one now. A few more months won’t hurt.

Please don't take this away from these kids! It can make all the difference in their future memory of graduation!

Every kid deserves to walk across the stage just like you did. Just like your kids did. Just like their kids will. Not some virtual pretend graduation.

Administration is wrong for this, the governor said it was their choice what they do so no one is to blame but them don’t let them trick you into thinking it’s out of their hands
