This is a petition for the attention of David Blunkett MP, Sheffield City Council and Forge Valley Community School. Parents and people with a connection to this school should be aware that this school has no safe storage for pupils and are making them carry heavy bags around all day. In adverse weather conditions this means students are walking to school in winter clothes and then either have to sit in wet clothes for the duration of the school day or change and carry the said wet clothes along with their bags, books, PE kits, technology equipment etc. Please sign this petition to get Forge Valley Community School safe, secure lockers. Please note, this school sends out at least2000 text messages a day. If the school sent emails to parents rather than texts, the money could be put towards school lockers. Children are having their belongings stolen by not having safe storage.
