Darren has officially dropped the nickname and issued an apology to our community. I am relieved that he finally recognized the harm his label caused and I want to thank everyone who stood by me throughout this process.

Final supporters
Me and other people in the "little community" are appalled and offended by Darren Branches use of the the nickname "Keebler". It's a direct stab at little people. He blocked me from Facebook when I simply suggested that he consider changing his nickname . That right there should be enough evidence that the name is soley for the purpose of belittling the "little community". He's a very powerful man in the jiu-jitsu community and we must ban together to change his nickname (I prefer Darinzinho).

Seeing the way Darren uses his influence to silence those of us who just asked for basic respect only proves why this nickname is so harmful. I have been reaching out to leaders in the jiu-jitsu community to show them the pain this causes. We cannot allow him to hide behind a block button while he continues to belittle an entire community.

Seeing this momentum grow proves that people recognize how insulting this nickname is to the community. I feel validated knowing I am not alone in calling out this behavior.

This is foolish and upsets me. I've personally messaged you and it saddens me to see this still up. I do believe in God and I don't think this is pleasing at all. Choose your battles wisely and never step into a battle before educating yourself of your opponent. That's what anyone who has ever been in a sport would know. Is this a movement towards growth? I think it's about self righteousness, foolery, envy, and pure self hatred. Eat those cookies!!!i again ask that you spend some time with God since you love to bring him into your shenanigans. Maybe you could move on to a more important petition that actually stands for something good. With all that's going on in the world, is this what you really want to petition against?
Wow this Keebler guy is a real jerk! I'm not tall so everytime I hear anything about any of those damn racist fools belittling my people it shortens my patience. Especially that damn Santa Clause, Snow White, and that gosh darn tree holding those poor little men captive for you tall people to enjoy delicious chocolate covered cookies. We might be small physically but I have a LARGE heart!!

In protest, I will eat one (1) box of Keebler Fudge Stripe Cookies every five minutes until this injustice has ended and Darinzinho has apologized.
Just because we are tiny does not mean we are not larger in then life.
To hell with that Keebler guy. How dare he name himself after a brand of delicious cookies. I hear he eats babies too

I want to rename Keebler but think we should all nominate five potential replacements, allowing a vote to decide. My nomination is: Mighty Mite
