Whereas First Nations Technical Institute (FNTI) is facing a financial crisis which may force the closing of its doors; and whereas FNTI has contributed significantly to closing the post-secondary gap between Indigenous peoples and Canadian Society, with over 2000 graduates; and whereas in order to deliver degree diploma and certificate programs it relies on often costly accreditation partnerships because it does not receive direct operational funding the way Ontarioâ
