The state agency has officially withdrawn the proposal to change creel rates on the Farmington River. We will continue monitoring the department meeting minutes to ensure this regulation remains off the table for the upcoming season.
The volume of support has secured us a formal meeting with the regional fisheries board. I am currently drafting the briefing documents to present our opposition to the new creel limits during that session.

This rule is ridiculous. I have fished the farmington for 20 years and this will just ruin the experience for local anglers.
