Please sign this petition to lobby airlines to start flying from London Stansted to Korea, Japan, China, Thailand and the Far East. Many people from this part of the world visit, live, work and study in Cambridge and the South East of England and fly frequently between here and East Asia. They are forced to make a two hour trek across the Home Counties and a congested London in order to reach an overcrowded Heathrow Airport when there is a world class international airport on their doorstep at London Stanstead. The benefits of this would be far reaching in not only slashing congestion on the roads and public transport into London and promoting employment and tourism in the east of England.
