There are plans to eliminate direct flights between
Manchester International Airport and Cairo International Airport from October
2014 onwards.
This direct flight line is very beneficial for
tourists, business people and personal travels, between British citizens and
Egyptians alike. Since direct flights between Manchester and Cairo have
commenced, it has eased travel between the two destinations and has invited
more people to travel more often to both airports. Many travelers enjoy the
service and convenience of being able to travel between two major international
airports directly.
Cancelling this direct service will mean a lot of
inconvenience for regular and one-time consumers. Not only will additional
hours be added to the overall journey time but expenses will undoubtedly
increase, and ultimately less consumers will travel between these two
destinations.
Many senior customers and business people living in
or travelling to the Midlands or the North of England will choose not to travel
to Cairo, Egypt if this direct service is no longer offered.
Many people choose to take small vacations, or
travel for business meetings because of the convenience of a direct flight. If
this service is eliminated, many of these clients will choose to either
postpone their trip, or not go altogether, thus less customers will choose to
travel between these destinations.
As consumers, we need to ensure that direct flights
between Manchester International Airport and
Cairo International Airport continue to operate regularly to prove
quality and convenient service to all those who depend on it.
Please sign this petition in supporting this cause.
This petition will declare to the affected Airlines and TheMinistry of Civil Aviation of Egypt(MCA)
that we support the continued service of direct flights between Manchester and
Cairo, and we do not want this service to end.
Thank you for your support.
The travel time will double for everyone. Why make things harder for travelers?
