We, the residents of Flat Rock, do hereby protest against any change to the Official Zoning Map by our elected officials that would rezone the property located East of Arsenal and North of Vreeland Road from R-1B (Single Family Residential) to C-3 (General Commercial Underlying District) for the purpose of constructing a Meijer, Inc. store and gas station/convenience store.

I have finalized the formal grievance letter regarding the reclassification of the Arsenal and Vreeland parcel for submission to the Planning Commission. Legal counsel is currently reviewing our case to ensure all local zoning ordinances are cited correctly in our opposition.

Enough with the stores. We moved here for the small town feel. Leave the zoning alone. 27005 Vreeland Rd
We dont need more traffic on Vreeland rd. People already speed through here like crazy. Keep it residential please. 26450 Vreeland Rd
There are already plenty of places to shop around here. Why ruin this area for a store we dont even need? 27102 Arsenal
Keep it R-1B. Property values will tank if this happens. 26912 Arsenal Rd
RIDICULOUS. Our quiet neighborhood will be ruined by lights and noise 24/7. Not okay. 26890 Arsenal Rd

My kids play outside everyday. Putting a gas station right there is just dangerous. 26344 Arsenal
