Fellow band alumni, and anyone who cares, we need your help if you can. The lights on the practice field are out! Our kids,are practicing in the dark, or the lights of our cars and the atv. My son tripped last week over a flag because of the lack of light, WITH his bass drum on! There have been orders to get them fixed, even a donation a few years back of lights AND labor but the ksd denied the donation. Our band is awesome, small, but awesome and they need the lights to help them get even more awesome and stay safe! Please sign the petition to get the school district to fix the lights!!! Our kids do not feel safe with these lights out. So the KSD mission and goals are not in play here, and our kids need tofeel safe and secure. These lights have been out the whole 2014 marching season, and previous seasons as well.
