Fix Bentley House Estate's Drains

Bentley House Estate in Hulme, Manchester has had an ongoing problem with the street drains for decades. The streets flood when it rains and sewage smells and effluent back up into residents flats, and on at least one occasion a garden collapsed into a large hole filled with raw sewage. This is due to poor maintenance which has lead to collapsed and blocked drains across the estate. Both City South Housing (landlord - formerly Manchester City Council) and United Utilities have been informed by residents about this problem on untold occasions over the past two decades but have done nothing to tackle the problem other than cursory investigations. We the residents of Bentley House Estate will no longer stand for this problem and demand a full overhaul of our estates drainage system.
