FIU Art Sculptures Petition

\"In 1994, renowned collector Martin Z. Margulies fulfilled his desire to share his priceless collection of contemporary sculpture with the world at large and placed over 50 works throughout the 26 acres of the Florida International University campus. Sculptures from the Florida Art in State Buildings program and selected sculpture donations to Florida International University, join the Margulies Collection to create a wonderfully rich and important representation of modern sculpture. The park currently has over eighty (80) sculptures by internationally celebrated artists such as Willem de Kooning, Jean Dubuffet, Richard Serra, Louise Nevelson and Isamu Noguchi. The Martin Z. Margulies Sculpture Park is recognized as the largest and most important collection of sculpture on a university campus.\" The Martin Z. Margulies Sculpture Park website These art sculptures were a loan to the University and over the years they became part of the soul of our institution. In an attempt to save the sculptures, we, your Student Government, have launched a student signed petition. Strictly for FIU students only. This petiton would be sent to the donor of most of the FIU art sculptures. Please use only your FIU email address, any other email would not be accepted.
