Background: Christie Wilt verbally harassed, intimidated and bullied one of her students, breaking a sacred code that we, as parents, trust the school system to honor. She singled out this student, amongst the rest of the class, in multiple instances and over an extended period of time. The hazing is all caught on tape. Even more tragic, the 14 year old student is a special-needs child. How confusing and painful this must have been for this poor girl to endure over and over again. Christie Wilt's actions are nothing short of grotesque...now it's time for you and I to take action. Petition: Certain people shouldn't be teaching. Certain people, such as Christie Wilt, who don't have the patience, competence or moral compass to be trusted alone with children, much less the integrity to be trusted with the task of molding their young minds. This could just as easily be your child or mine. Stand up for this child's rights and help set a precedent for other teachers. Sign this petition to have Christie Wilt's teaching license revoked. With any luck, she'll suffer residual backlash and possibly even feel some shame for her actions. But that's ancillary...the primary concern is getting this signed by as many people as possible and REMOVING CHRISTIE WILT FROM THE CLASSROOM...FOREVER. No rehabilitation, no re-certifying...we learn this stuff in kindergarten. You didn't fail a curriculum test...you failed as a human being. REMOVE CHRISTIE WILT FROM THE CLASSROOM.
