Sign up to show your support and concern in finding the root cause of at least a dozen cases of Ocular Melanoma (a rare cancer) which have occurred near Hopewell High School. Let's insist that CMS Leadership and the Town of Huntersville fully comply with independent researchers to identify this disease.
CMS leadership is banking on us getting quiet while people keep getting sick. We are creeping toward 500 signatures and I need you to shove this in the face of every official who ignores us until they are forced to act.

Please research the cause at Hopewell High School! We need independent researchers. Both my mother died of OM and I have OM. Every little bit of info helps everyone who lives in this town of Huntersville.

This research could unlock the door for OM. I WANT to find a cure, I just recently lost my husband to metastatic uveal melanoma and I don't want to see others losing their battle.

Both of my children have lost classmates to this rare cancer. Finding the source and preventing future cases should be the goal of all citizens of the Lake Norman & Huntersville area.

I' ve lived w/in 1/4 mile of Hopewell High School for over 40 years... The property was nothing more than a corn field for most of the years that I can remember. Unless there was some kind of pest control used on that field, I can't imagine what else could be so harmful... I really hope that they figure out what the problem is...

I have lifelong friends who lost their beautiful daughter, Kenan Colbert Koll, to ocular melanoma. They deserve answers as do all the other families who are going through this. Whatever testing is necessary should be completed without question or delay!

CMS and Hopewell need to start answering the public's concerns. What is CMS and Hopewel hiding if they keep saying no to environmental testing on campus? I also live within a mile of the campus and currently attend Hopewell. It's time for some answers
