We, the undersigned, request that outside research consultants be appointed and funded by the Montclair Town Council to research and report on the events related to the exposure of Renaissance Middle School students to airborne asbestos in May of 2008 and the events related to the possible exposure of those students to airborne contaminants in Madonna Hall between the months of September 2007 and March 2008. We request that these consultants compile a report that will be made available to all concerned parties.
The level of public engagement regarding the Renaissance asbestos inquiry has surpassed my initial expectations. This momentum indicates a clear expectation for transparency from the town council regarding student safety.

Parents deserve to know the truth about what happened in that building. We have been waiting years for real answers regarding those kids.

Keep our kids safe. We need an independent review because the town council clearly isnt interested in helping us.

Ridiculous how long this has dragged on. Let's get someone from the outside to look at the paperwork and be done with it.

My son was there during that time. Still paranoid about his health. Why is it so hard to get an honest report?
