5 large turbines SIX times the height of the Angel of the North  between the A1 and A697 in the small rural hamlet of Fenrother (near Heighley Gate). TWO are OUTSIDE the local plan area for wind turbine search area.  Majority within 850 metres of houses . Turbines are likely to be visible for over 20 miles ! Local residents (except the landowners - persuaded with handsome rewards from turbine companies) are strongly against this - our countryside will be polluted with noise , flicker, house devaluations , animal deaths (studies have shown bats are frequently killed where turbines are located in their habitat) EnergieKontor AEG is a German Company whose UK arm only employs (at the last accounts) under 10 people directly!!!! . If turbines are allowed here they would encourage applications anywhere else in Northumberland - please help us fight to stop our historic landscape being littered by these turbines.  PLEASE HELP SAVE NORTHUMBERLAND.

Offers of assistance gratefully received - please contact the team at Fight@fightfenrotherwindfarm.co.uk

We are fighting again the proposal at www.fenrotherwindfarm.co.uk where more specific details may eventually be released by the company

We the undersigned are opposed to the proposal to place wind turbines within close proximity to Fenrother, Northumberland. We are concerned the adverse effects will be created upon visual amenity, wildlife and habitat, noise, infrastructure and cultural heritage. We do not consider that the proposed benefits of these projects can be delivered either at all or without serious damage to the local community.
