Thanks to the citizens and taxpayers of Maine who spoke out in concern and signed this petition in opposition to LD 1353 - the bill was voted a Unanimous "Ought Not to Pass" out of the Judiciary Committee. This includes "Ought Not to Pass" votes from two co-sponsors of the bill, who sat on the Judiciary Committee. This is a great victory for Transparency and Open Government in Maine.
