The administration is finally acknowledging our pressure but they have not agreed to keep RAGE 103.7 on the air yet. Send an email to the university president demanding they protect our student media now. Post the link to our mission statement on your Facebook wall so more people in Cape Girardeau understand what we are losing.

Being a musician for about a decade now in Southeaster Missouri, I believe taking away this powerful tool of promoting local art on the radio would be very harmful to the future musicians in the area and culture in our community.
I am a 2007 graduate of SEMO and now live in Saint Louis. I listen to RAGE all the time via the internet, especially at my desk at work. When I go to Cape to visit, it is the first thing I turn on (once I get in range).
My son learned so much working there. He is now at a large station in St Louis and loves it. He will always look back at his learning experience there with fondness and appreciation
The problem isn't lack of interest, it's totally lack of promotion on the university's part. I'm a Mass Comm major and I can't recall ever hearing anything about how to get involved.
Don't rob future students of the opportunity to be creative. Rage 103.7 allowed me and so many others to thrive and learn how to be comfortable on air.
This station is great!!!

As the current Sports Director, I am bummed that I can't pass it down to my successor. Rage has given me a career path and my identity in broadcast and I want somebody else to find theirs as well.
