Dear Ryanair colleagues,
New year has come and we would like to begin it with a simple but important topic: as many of us know, weather conditions in fall/winter/spring can be severe, especially in northern and eastern European bases.
Moreover, our job requires not just excellent grooming but also comfortable clothing.
For these reasons, we would like to involve all of you in the request to the management of the Company to introduce FEMALE TROUSERS among the other uniform items.
As you are well aware, all the uniform items are at worker's own expense, so it wouldn't represent an extra cost to the Company: we can order it, and pay for it, exactly as we already done with the other items.
We can, by supporting this proposal, make the difference and lead to improvement this particular area of our job.
If this proposal will be accepted, as we hope and strongly believe, we trust that, with the help of the management, can be achieved.
Last but not least, we take this opportunity to wish you a healthy and successful year.

The cold weather is extremely difficult to endure without falling ill and there’s less chance of female crew being sexually harassed so I’m definitely for trousers for the ladies.
that in the 21st century a woman's uniform must be necessarily with a skirt and heels is totally archaic and outdated. At least they should give the option to choose the pants, either because it is winter and very cold or because the person feels more comfortable with pants at any time of year
I'm based in Bergamo and here during winter is freezing specially in the morning when you have to leave home at 04:30 or in the night when you land at midnight. And a part of the cold very often we have to walk around ten minuts to get to the stand where the plane is parked.
Based in Northern Ireland and the weather conditions are so bad during winter that I can barely move by wearing just tights,to not mention when it is raining or snowing.
This would be much more practical when having to Marshall in minus conditions in the winter. Too cold to efficiently work

What a brilliant idea.. I strongly believe that that trousers should be one of the main uniform items.. We suffer alot with the skirt in winter season.. We get severe period pain.. Flue and bad cold... Among dozen of other things.
