We are petitioning for plain navy tracksuit bottoms to be permitted as an alternative to leggings for girls’ games kit.
Many girls find leggings uncomfortable, particularly during their periods, and we believe students should have the option to wear appropriate sportswear in which they feel comfortable and confident.
We therefore believe that allowing all girls to wear plain navy tracksuit bottoms, regardless of brand, would be a fairer, more practical and affordable approach to the school’s games kit policy.
