The park officials officially approved the new off-leash access for our trails. Seeing my dog run freely in the woods again is everything I hoped for when I started this. Please remember to keep acting responsibly so we can ensure these paths stay open for all of us.
Walking the trails with my dog reminds me every single day why we need these spaces to remain accessible for our families. I am reading through your stories about the positive impact these walks have on your lives and they keep me going through these long planning meetings.

Seeing so many of you connect with this mission for our trails brings me such relief. Knowing my own dog would finally have a place to run freely helps me push harder for these changes.

my dog loves the fells and is perfectly trained. we should be able to enjoy the trails off leash too like other parks.

The rules are way too strict these days. Just give us a few trails where they can actually run free.

Fells is huge. Plenty of room for leash dogs and off leash dogs to share the space if people just had some common sense.

Please change the rules. It makes no sense to have such a big park and not be able to let them off.
