Family camping at Festivals is a joy for those of us who have children and want a safe, clean environment with other fun families surrounding us! Phish has historically recognized the need for Family sections to support and nurture the fanbase who love to share the experience with their littles.
This year, let's let our voices be heard and petition for GLEN CLOSE FAMILY RV AND GA FAMILY RV sections at Curveball. Many of us have small campers, trailers, VW buses and pop-ups that would not be allowed into the family tent camping section. We would be more than happy to park in a designated area for larger vehicles and pay the associated fees, but don't want to be randomly parked next to a 24/7 disco bus! We want those folks to have the freedom to party - and for families to be near other Family RVers. It would make the experience 1000% better with minimal effort by the Festival planners and staff.
There is no expectation of any special amenities over the other RVs such as hook ups or a closer-to-the-stage location (although that would be nice :) ) The expectation of quiet hours would be for inside the family camping section only, not the RV sections. If the locations were adjacent to the regular RV sections, we would understand that noise travels. We just want a small amount of effort from the staff to park us separately such that we can maximize our enjoyment and the quality of the surroundings for our kids.
Please Phish - make this happen. If not for us, then do it FOR THE CHILDREN ;)

I am currently organizing the logistics regarding RV placement to send to festival operations staff. My next step involves drafting a formal request that outlines how a dedicated space for families benefits both production flow and participant experience.

Thank you to whoever set this up. We are thinking of taking the kids and it would be so great to have a section of only families. The kids don’t need to see some of the behavior that goes on at shows and at the same time, people there to be without their kids don’t need to worry about kids.
The only camping gear we own that will fit our entire family is our 1973 16 foot camp trailer. Please designate a section for all the families to chill in!
There's usually a family tent camping section, no? Why not have a family RV section as well for all of us attending in campers with our kids. I know I'll be there with a toddler and a baby and would love to be surrounded by other phamilies.
This would be greatly appreciated. We were next to a one man 4 am yelling kareoke show last time and although I liked his song choices, that’s where my liking ended.
The number of families with young children attending Magnaball was impressive. We met some wonderful new friends. The little rager section in the lawn was clearly a respectable group of fans enjoying the festival responsibly with our children. The festival had many activities that people of young ages could enjoy. These families surely deserve to be accomadated with their own camping area.
Yes, but I also feel it would be amazing if they would rope off a family section on the lawn for the shows!
Love family sections for our sweetie! It makes us more excited to attend!

A family RV section would be a much-appreciated addition to the Phish festival grounds layout. I have been attending Phish festivals for the past 20 years and now like to make this a family experience. In recent years, we have opted to stay off site for festivals with our kids, but we would love to stay on the festival grounds with our kids and having a family RV section would make that a possibility.
