We need your support! Please help us collect signatures (from parents, nannies, grandparents, other caretakers, and general members of the public) in support of basic family-friendly improvements at Moulton Meadows Park:
* Shades over seating areas especially near the playground
* Shades over playground swings
* Privacy screen or door on at least one bathroom stall
* Safer + easier stroller access from the street to the sidewalk near the playground
* Additional picnic tables for group seating options
* Diaper changing stations
In recent years, the demographics of Arch Beach Heights have changed to include many more families with young children and with the onset of an enduring pandemic, many families and caretakers from all communities have been coming to the park more frequently to get some quality outdoor time and host safer informal gatherings. This is the perfect time to enhance this community asset with basic improvements all families can enjoy.
These signatures will be provided along with a presentation to the Laguna Beach Recreation Committee on September 13. If you have any questions, please feel free to email Roxanne at [email protected].

The momentum we have built makes it clear that the city can no longer ignore the basic needs of the families in this neighborhood. The Recreation Committee needs to stop dragging their feet and finally commit to these park improvements.

YES to diaper changing stations. Changing a baby on the trunk of the car in the parking lot is not okay in 2021.
Moulton Meadows is the best park but it needs these updates to keep up with how many families use it now. Get it done!
Needs a water station for sure. Tired of lugging 5 bulky bottles every time we go.
Walking that stroller up from the street is a nightmare. Especially with a diaper bag and a toddler in tow. Needs a ramp ASAP.
The lack of shade over the swings is brutal in the summer. My kids get so hot they cant even play for more then 20 mins.

Fix the bathroom doors please. Its ridiculous that we have to hover over the kids while they use the toilet.
