After almost 80 years of Stateline Speedway racing and camping in the field, the health deperatment has decided to suspend all camping operations on the property. As a racing family we should stand up and fight back in hopes that they will allow us to resume the fun filled race weekend camping that we have enjoyed for so many years with our friends and family. Lets fill this petition up!
THIS IS NOT A DIG AT THE SPEEDWAY OR THE TRACK OWNERS. The health department is behind this. Stateline has done everything they have been asked to keep camping alive. We have had a sign in sheet, noise ordinance, contained campfires, leash laws, fire lanes, limited number of vehicles per spot, AND organized numbered and safely distanced camp spaces.

I have been hearing from so many of you who raised your kids in these campsites and losing this tradition feels like losing a piece of our family history. I am currently gathering all of our documentation to present a formal request for a meeting with the health department. We have done everything the track asked of us to keep this space safe and I intend to make them acknowledge that.

Seeing this level of support reminds me that our racing family is far larger than just the folks I meet in the pits. This momentum proves that the tradition of camping at the track is a vital part of our community that refuses to just disappear.

Please don't shut down camping at Stateline Speedway. It gives families the opportunity to race & relax at the track. People the opportunity to drink & have a safe place to spend the night & brings tax revenue & money to surrounding businesses
We have been camping for years, it's such a great time to be able to get away just for the weekend and spend time with our racing family. This camping always brought so many people together. Taking away camping takes away alot of memories to be made for our kids who get to come to gether on weekends and play or ride bikes.
We have been camping up there for years. It makes it easy for us. My boy races karts in the morning and our buddy races at night. Without that i doubt we will race.
This is not just a speed way many generations have camped over the years and it is a tradition for alot of families. To spend the weekend, their hard earned money to get away from the daily grind of life. Dirt track racing is not a hobby it is a way of life and runs deep in our blood.
Please let people camp @stateline it may keep the roads safer being that people may be less likely to leave the track after drinking

Wow. I live over 2hrs away. If I can't bring the camper, we aren't coming. 4-6 of us. In a scene that needs every fan at the track possible, This will do nothing but hurt the track.
