Agree! Mattamy didn't follow municipal regulations about price drop protection. Purchasers are entitled to a credit of 110% of the difference (per council amendment 65v.89 of the consumers advocacy act) Walmart, best buy and Amazon play by the rules, so should builders

Markets changed selling our home we lost over 250K that’s a big chunk. Now struggling to get the mortgage for the new build. I am short 250K for closing this deal. I’m not asking for a discount.. Why can’t Mattamy help us with this as a mortgage.

How come Mattamy sold a townhouse at $ 880K, and after 4 months drop the price to $ 700K. I bet Mattamy made lot of profits, and then dropped the price to kill its competitors, and at the same causing an artificial crash that affected these families.

Fair enough..when government changes policies all existing buyers and sellers in todays market are getting affected. So in this case the Builder too should also face the impact..why is it that only buyers should be facing the brunt..

The builder has the right to cancel a project and give back deposits with no interest if they cannot get financing for a project. But the buyer has zero rights- something is wrong here Mattamy should really work with buyers and do the right thing.

Mattamy Homes Kleinburg Summit keeps reducing the price of the houses they are selling. We need to stop them now. It's been x2 20k reductions since the winter. So 40-60k reduction thus far. Mattamy can't do this to us.
