Please fix this. We didnt even want to be in the city limits but they forced it on us. Taxes went way up for nothing.
STOP THE ANNEXATION NOW. Nobody asked for this.
total theft. my property my rules. get the state house to stop this power grab once and for all.
My neighbors and I have been fighting this for years. Its unfair that they can just take over our neighborhood without a real vote.
We moved out here to get away from the city taxes not to have them follow us. NC laws are way too aggressive toward rural homeowners.

Enough is enough. These cities just grab land whenever they want more tax money and it ruins everything for the residents out here.
