I agree the North Carolina Annexation Laws need revision to bring fairness, balance, oversight, and accountability to them.
I support a moratorium on all present and future annexations until the law has been thoroughly studied for reform by the General Assembly.

Enough is enough. These cities just grab land whenever they want more tax money and it ruins everything for the residents out here.

Please fix this. We didnt even want to be in the city limits but they forced it on us. Taxes went way up for nothing.

My neighbors and I have been fighting this for years. Its unfair that they can just take over our neighborhood without a real vote.

We moved out here to get away from the city taxes not to have them follow us. NC laws are way too aggressive toward rural homeowners.
