Protect Public Participation in Estes Park Development Code
I oppose the adoption of ANY changes to the Estes Park Development Code until the Town has completed its ongoing comprehensive rewrite.
Meaningful public review and participation should be an essential part of the process, with civic engagement remaining a priority throughout.

The Town of Estes Park is in the process of rewriting the entire Development Code. Citizens have been told that the process is 90% complete. Why is it necessary to push through these two small revisions with such haste? More citizen involvement is required.
I oppose ANY changes or text amendments to the Estes Park Development Code until the Town has completed a comprehensive rewrite. The Town has already invested substantial funding in Design Workshop consultants. Introducing piecemeal amendments at this late stage undermines the comprehensive review process and raises serious concerns about meaningful public participation. Civic engagement should be the priority, not an afterthought.
Preserving Estes Park as its one of the most beautiful places on Earth and i want to keep it that way
Residents should have a say in the decisions made in the town in which we live.
Keep public involvement in city development. The “Trustees” have shown that they are NOT responsible stewards of the Valley.
The proposed changes should not be rushed through with minimal citizen input.
The City needs to wait for the rewrite. Why add this now? Who is this actually written for and why the rush?

I am absolutely not ok with the Town of Estes Park rewriting the Development Code and adding in revisions that were already voted on last year. This undermines citizens of Estes Park. This is highly manipulative and a continuance of taking advantage of people who have already expressed their desires. To ramrod these kinds of revisions is underhanded. You need to allow your townspeople to have the proper knowledge of what you are doing.
