The level of traction this initiative has gained demonstrates a widespread consensus regarding current fare structures. It is heartening to see such a unified call for a more equitable approach to ferry pricing.

This is long overdue. Time to make the system efficient, fair and responsive to the needs of a changing environment. It's also crazy that a scooter pays half the fare of a full-size pickup truck, while only using a fraction of the space.
Motorcycles particularly. At least six motorcycles can fit crosswise in the space of an average vehicle yet we pay half price? It's time for FAIR pricing!
Yes for charging by deck space.
And bicycles should be free to encourage folks to get out of their polluting cars!!
Car care fare is fair and smart
Ditto the comments re motorcycle charges and size.
Fairness ahead of expediency. BCF management is WAY too retrogressive. Let's finally get into the 21st century!

I agree wth Brenda Guiled who initiated this petition. I run a very small hatchback and pay less for gas and can fit a ton of stuff into this small vehicle. Why shouldn't we pay a bit less for less space taken on the ferries.
