67 UCL Professors have joined in the initial call and petition to extend the consultation period for the most dramatic change to UCL statutes in 24 years (add that to the number to the right to see the current total).

These reforms could have serious consequences for academic freedom of inquiry and protections against arbitrary redundancy at UCL, and for the future of the university. Yet they are being rushed through over the summer, to be approved by Council on 1st October 2012.

If you are a member of Academic Board, please sign the below petition to join the initial signatories in calling to extend the essential consultation period and debate within UCL on whether these reforms are safe and necessary:
