Exetel plans to deprioritise P2P traffic on it\'s network to 50% speed.
Exetel offers plans with X amount of data for X price, once a user pays for that service, is it not up to them to choose how they wish to use it!
I am NOT in favour of the proposed changes by Exetel that attempt to control the way I use the service that I pay for.
It is likely I may choose to do one/some of the followiong:
(1) No longer refer my friends and relatives to Exetel and no longer speak positively of Exetel.
(2) Consider churning
(3) Still download the same amount of data (e.g. X episode of something)and if everyone does the same, how will this help anything.
(4) Change to an Exetel plan with less download allowance.
We (as customers) would like to work WITH Exetel in solving the problem and finding a solution rather than Exetel implementing P2P de-prioritisation.
This petition will be running for a few weeks.
Please include your name/alias and location.
Thx
Seeing this level of support confirms that we all feel the same frustration about how our bandwidth is being throttled. It has been a long and draining process to gather this much momentum but we are finally forcing them to notice us.
