*** Students coming to Canada should be considered as "Essential" and hence exception to new travel restrictions (Hotel Stay) if they have already arranged a house/stay for 14 days quarantine inside Canada. ***
(Canada Govt. is now preparing the list of tasks which will be considered "Essential" and also making a list of people who will be exempted from hotel staying for minimum 3 days with 2800+ CAD, which is stressful for the students)

International Students around the world are not travelling for short term leisure. They are commonly in very tight financial situations and already pay ridiculously greater costs for international tuition and travel. They should be able to quarantine in a safe and financially suitable place!
I as an international student want students to get exempted from this hotel quarantine as we already are following some regulations. On top of that, our travel is essential as we face a lot of issue in terms of study, attending class due to time zone issues.
We are International Students studying in Canada. My father is very sick that's why I had to come visit him during the pandemic. Now if they make the hotel Quarantine mandatory I don't have the money to stay in the hotel. I don't what I am going to do then. Please take our situations into consideration please.
Im an International student. I have a quarentine plan approved from my University. I'll be flying soon. My travel is very essential because my University has given me an essential travel letter. International Students should be exempted from this 3 days hotel quarentine. With Regards!
Students are required to travel to Canada in this pandemic to save their eligibility to receive PGWP! Authorities are requested that either would change the 50% of their total program inside Canada completion rules or exempt Students from Travel Restrictions.

This is ridiculous! I’m studying in UBC with full funding and scholarship but even my tuition fees are not this much! I can’t afford this much expenses just for a 3 day quarantine and PCR Test!!
