We need a bike path throughout the City of Raanana so that everyone can ride their bike in Raanana safely. Currently it is embarrassing that a City the size of Raanana does not have a bike path and bike riders take a risk each and every time they ride their bike in the City, We are looking to raise this issue with the Mayor in a constructive manner and need your support. We are looking to gather at least 1000 signatures. Please make yourself count.

I am currently preparing a formal proposal for the Mayor that outlines the specific benefits of an interconnected path system for our community. It is so dangerous with the bikers riding on the side walks. I'm always afraid of getting hurt by them Also when driving on the street I see the kids driving all over the road instead of staying on the right It makes driving a problem with bikes on the street instead of a special bike lane
This is a pressing issue and needs to be addressed as a matter of priority. Residents of Ra'anana including school children should be encouraged to use their non-electric bikes to get around the city,in order to reduce congestion, but the roads are dangerous and the current bike paths are embarassingly sub standard compared to neighbouring cities. I wholeheartedly support this petition.
A bike path would be a wonderful addition and offers an economical and an environment friendly solution to commute
Please, please add bike paths in Ra'anana! I ride to and from work every day and get beeped at and pushed off the edge of the road by aggressive drivers almost daily. Ra'anana is a very rideable city and we should be encouraging as many people as possible to ride bikes, but right now, riding around Ra'anana is not a pleasant experience.
I ride 10km everyday inside Raanana. I can only use Weitzman st. for safe riding and a large part of it does not have a bike path. Today I almost got hit by a car. In short, something should be done
It's getting out of hand and dangerous!!
And enforce that bikes be on them. Stricter fines for those nearly running over pedestrians

As a driver, and a parent of kids who cycle, the roads here in Raanana are terrifying! The cyclists have no safe place to ride and therefore endanger both themselves and everyone on the road. With the huge number of bikes - electric and regular - on the road, bicycle lanes are an absolute necessity.
