We, the undersigned citizens, visitors, and community
advocates of the City of Eureka Springs, and all relevant
neighboring communities, at large do hereby:

Request that the Eureka Springs Historic District Commission deny
the Level III application filed by Smith Communications for a cell
tower at 5 Judah Street within the Eureka Springs Historic District,
on the basis that:

-         the proposed cell tower will have an adverse effect on the
character-defining features of the existing street,
neighborhood, and the District as a whole

-         the need for a new cell tower has not been substantiated,
and coverage is available on existing towers in the city with
significant overlap

-         existing local AT&T cell phone consumers have indicated that
there is no lack of existing coverage in town

Existing infrastructure must be utilized to full capacity before
deploying additional towers. Thank you for your time and
consideration.

Keep Eureka Springs beautiful, dont ruin the skyline with some ugly tower. People come here for the history not for cell reception.

This is ridiculous. Plenty of other places to put it. Why destroy the charm of the historic district??
