Seeing one hundred people sign this shows I am not the only one struggling to pay these impossible light bills. This is the first step toward getting Erongo Red to finally acknowledge how much we are hurting.

Seeing 500 neighbors sign this reminds me that I am not the only family struggling to keep the lights on under these new rates. This reach is already beyond what I dared to imagine when I first started this effort. We have a clear path now to demand the conversation that Erongo Red has been avoiding.

Tariffs are too high and must be reduced to bring relief, Erongored must bring the tariffs to the affordable rate of Nored . Another alternative is for the Erongored to be abolished and electricity to go back to Municipality whom we have voted. Down with high tariffs and an annual increase.
tarifs very high and those who are poor and staiying in sackdwellings can't afford it at all the old tarifs mus be put back it's not good to charge N$60 as a benefit for Erongo Red and a N$100 voucher is only 41 units please do something about it
As a home owner this is very high I bough $400 dollars electricity which did not last even till the 15th nomarly we used till the month ending . I want the Municipality of Swakopmund to take over the electricity and Erongo red must go out I want 1.70 per unit
The current tariffs are unaffordable. And to add to this, the electricity units finish at a much faster rate than before. This is totally unacceptable. Electricity is a basic need and not a luxury - ErongoRED do something!
Erongo Red should decrease its tarrifs please.Imagine that the voltage of 1000 will not enough for the whole month.This situation it will force us to stay without having electricity. We are here to work the bread of our children, but not just to work for electricity.

This is unacceptable, they are robbing us. I cannot afford it. They give us a option to change to 20amps, but who said the 20amps can carry a household. Who will be responsible if my house burns down???
