This petition is to improve our village of Allendale and let the parish councilors know we all have a voice and we want it to be heard. The Street lighting in Allendale is unreasonable. No street lighting outside the schools or in the market square with no street lighting on Shield Street. There are more street lights on the junction at Haydon Bridge Bypass then there is in the market square. Following the recent scare of the girl at Allen Mill, safety is paramount and we need to feel safe in our own village. Please sign this petition as we need as many names as possible. We can make Allendale a better place.
