This petition is in support of an equine/agricultural facility in Union County, NC. Union County has an extensive horse and cattle community that is in need of a facility where activities such as horse and livestock shows, clinics, auctions, rodeos, team penning events, 4-H, FFA and cattlemen events and so many other functions can be held right here in our own county. Each year hundreds of thousands of dollars are lost to other counties and states because we do not have a facility right here in the heart of horse country.
